Lakeview Elementary PTA

The Lakeview Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer partnership between parents, guardians, grandparents, community members, and the Lakeview teachers and administrators who strive to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

To fully access this site, create a Membership Toolkit account (you do not need to be a PTA member to create an account). Once logged in, you'll be able to update your family information for the online directory (you can opt in or out), join PTA, sign up for volunteer opportunities, access pages just for families and members, access classroom message boards, and more! We are seeking individuals who would like to get involved and lend a helping hand! There are many different positions with different skills needed and different time commitments - we encourage you to take a glance at the opportunities!

To nominate yourself or someone else, visit our nomination form here: Executive Board / Committee Chair and Coordinator Nomination. Nominations for the elected board positions are due on March 31st.
We are also seeking 3 individuals to serve on our nominations committee - selection of the nominations committee will be held on Zoom on March 25th at 7:30PM.
- Individuals serving on the nominations committee should have enough time to dedicate to distributing and reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and the chair of this committee must be present at our election on April 15th. Candidates should also:
  - Elect on merit and ability.
  - Willing to devote adequate time to the responsibilities involved.
  - Knowledgeable regarding the eleigibility requrements and the qualifications necessary for the offices to be filled and the responsibility of each office.
  - Aware of the qualifications and abilities of the potential nominees (through application, interview, etc.).
  - Use sound judgement and skill in evaluating nominees. Able to give objective consideration to nominees.
  - Keep all delibrations confidential and be tactful, discreet, and act with integrity.
- Only Lakeview Elementary PTA members may vote on the selection of the nominations committee.

Election will be held in-person at the Lakeview Elementary cafeteria on April 15th at 6pm. Only Lakeview Elementary PTA members are eligible to vote.
- From now until the April 14th, get a free Lakeview Viking hat, tote bag, or yard sign by signing up for PTA membership (dues are $10)! *New memberships only!*

LVE Educational Award

Treasured Viking Fund

Families who need assistance with expenses for school-related items can apply for assistance through our Treasured Viking Fund application.
Items that could be covered include, but are not limited to: spirit shirts, Field Day shirts, 5th Grade class shirts, school supplies, club fees / dues, and more.
Please note your request will need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline (of the event / item).
Donations to our Treasured Viking Fund are also appreciated.
