Lakeview Elementary PTA

The Lakeview Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer partnership between parents, guardians, grandparents, community members, and the Lakeview teachers and administrators who strive to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

To fully access this site, create a Membership Toolkit account (you do not need to be a PTA member to create an account). Once logged in, you'll be able to update your family information for the online directory (you can opt in or out), join PTA, sign up for volunteer opportunities, access pages just for families and members, access classroom message boards, and more! Summer Splash Bash

Our event will be happening rain or shine! It is a come-and-go event from 9A-11A, feel free to come for as little or as long as you would like.
Please enter through the BACK of the school. There is very limited parking in the back, so you may need to park in the front of the building and walk to the back. Overflow parking is at Friendship Church off Wood Street.
We will have veggie straw snacks, bomb pops, and water. Please make sure your kids eat breakfast before coming.
Please bring a towel, sunscreen, your own water shooters and lawn chairs if you would like. We do have some water shooters to share, but not enough for everyone, so bringing your own is encouraged. We will also have some seating for parents, but you may want to bring your own lawn chairs. Please make sure to label all your belongings.
Bathrooms will be accessible, but we ask that you please dry off as much as you can before going inside.
Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck will be on site!

Join the PTA Leadership Team for 2026-27

We have two spots available on our leadership team - the Spirit Nights Coordinator and the Sunshine Committee Coordinator!
- Spirit Nights Coordinator:
  - Reach out to local businesses (usually restaurants, but can also be kid activity places) to set up spirit nights (target 1-2 per month). Encouraged to get all dates set over the summer if possible.
  - This coordinator will also be responsible for pushing out communications about our spirit nights throughout the year (emailing, posting on WhatsApp, sending flyer to our Social Media and Webmaster to post, posting our yard sign in the car rider line, etc.).
  - This job can be done completely from home!
- Sunshine Committee Coordinator:
  - Packing and delivering birthday grams to students on their birthdays
  - Purchasing small gifts for staff members on appreciation days (e.g. Custodian Appreciation Day, Counselor Appreciation Week, Principal Appreciation Day, etc.)
  - Leading the Sparkle Sqaud - a group of volunteers who decorate for events such as back to school, award ceremonies, hospitality events, Fall Movie Night, and more

Lakeview Elementary Spring Carnival

Thank you to all of the families who came out to support our carnival despite the rain! We are so grateful to our Carnival Committee and to all the volunteers who showed up to make our event such a success. We couldn't have done it without the love of labor of SO many people. We are thankful for our Lakeview community.

Treasured Viking Fund

Families who need assistance with expenses for school-related items can apply for assistance through our Treasured Viking Fund application.
Items that could be covered include, but are not limited to: spirit shirts, Field Day shirts, 5th Grade class shirts, school supplies, club fees / dues, and more.
Please note your request will need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline (of the event / item).
Donations to our Treasured Viking Fund are also appreciated.
