The Lakeview Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer partnership between parents, guardians, grandparents, community members, and the Lakeview teachers and administrators who strive to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

To fully access this site, create a Membership Toolkit account (you do not need to be a PTA member to create an account). Once logged in, you'll be able to update your family information for the online directory (you can opt in or out), join PTA, sign up for volunteer opportunities, access pages just for families and members, access classroom message boards, and more! Coffee with Principal Boler

Come meet with Principal Boler over coffee this Friday February 6th at 8:30 AM. Share your ideas, and suggestions and hear about what's happening around school!

Lakeview Elementary Talent Show!

Tickets are currently on sale for our first talent show! Come watch our talented 2nd-5th graders perform their special and unique talents on February 10th at 6pm.
Ticket costs will increase at the door, so make sure you purchase ahead of time! $10 per adult and $5 per child. LVE staff and children 3 and under are free.
All proceeds will benefit the 5th Grade Class for their end-of-year celebration.
Concessions will be on sale at the show. In addition, we will have Foreign Policy (food truck) and Travelin' Tom's Coffee truck in the front parking lot! They will be on-site start at ~5:15pm. Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Field Day Shirt Sales

Field Day shirts are currently on sale. Proceeds will go towards Lakeview's PE Program.
Each grade will have a different color shirt, so make sure to indicate what grade your child is in.
Volunteers can also purchase a shirt if you'd like - just make sure you make note that it is for a volunteer in the comments.

Spring Book Fair

Make sure to set up your child(ren)'s e-wallet for the Book Fair - cash will not be accepted and credit cards can only be used if the parent is present. Stay tuned for more details on how to set up an e-wallet.
Volunteers are needed! Please consider signing up to help with book fair set up, helping students with book selection and calculating their totals, and checking out. Sign up here.

Healthy Minds & STEAM Night

Our Healthy Minds & STEAM Night will be on February 26th from 5-6:30pm at Lakeview Elementary.
Come participate in activities to invigorate your mind! Lakeview teachers will be hosting math and science activities, PTA will be hosting stations and booths that promote healthy minds (and mental wellbeing), and our book fair will be open!
PTA will be providing dinner to those who RSVP by February 23rd.

Dudes on Campus: Books & Breakfast

Come join the dudes and shop the book fair with your child(ren) on Tuesday February 24th from 7:30-8AM.
Children are invited to stay for donuts and juice! All students must head to class at 8AM.

Just Between Friends - Kid Consignment Sale Spirit Nights!

Come shop at the "Just Between Friends" Consignment Sale on February 25th and 26th and mention Lakeview to help us earn 10% of your purchase.
Location: Fort Bend County Fair Grounds
Wednesday, February 25th is the Pre-Sale day (scan the QR code to get 10% off tickets!). Tickets also free for healthcare workers, military, first responders, teachers / homeschool parents, and first-time parents/grandparents.

Spring Carnival Committee

PTA is seeking volunteers for the Spring Carnival Committee.
If you would like to be involved on the Carnival Committee, reach out to Julie at Fundraising@lvepta.org! The committee will meet via Zoom every few weeks.
Our first meeting will be on Thursday, February 5th from 8-9PM.

LVE Educational Award

Treasured Viking Fund

Families who need assistance with expenses for school-related items can apply for assistance through our Treasured Viking Fund application.
Items that could be covered include, but are not limited to: spirit shirts, Field Day shirts, 5th Grade class shirts, school supplies, club fees / dues, and more.
Please note your request will need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline (of the event / item).
Donations to our Treasured Viking Fund are also appreciated.
