Textile Recycling Drive

• When: September 13-20
• Drop off your donations in the green bin located in the car rider line. Any textile that is ready for the dumpster is accepted - this is for recycling and not to donate to others in need. Textiles include clothes, shoes, belts, purses and bags, towels, bedding, stuffed animals and anything else made of cloth/fabric!
• Help us earn 20 cents per pound!

Dudes on Campus - Shop the Book Fair and Meet for Coffee & Donuts!

• The Dudes on Campus invite all Lakeview Dudes (dads, uncles, grandpas, etc.) to come shop the Book Fair with your child on Tuesday morning from 7:30-8AM. 
• Afterwards, all dudes are invited to stay for coffee and donuts in the front office conference room. It is a good time to get to know other dudes on campus and discuss opportunities to make an impact at Lakeview!

Book Fair Volunteers Needed!

• Sign up to help our in our book fair from September 13-20.

• Remember, background checks are needed to volunteer on-site. Background checks can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to approve.
• Our book fair is CASHLESS! Remember to set up your child's e-wallet here so they can shop during their outclass period.

Literacy Night

• Come out and engage with your kids in some fun literacy activities! Each grade will have an activity and PTA will host several other fun activities centered around literacy health. We'll also have pizza and s'mores! 
• The Sugar Land Branch Library will also be at our event providing information on library resources and setting up library cards!

School of Excellence Survey

• We are currently applying to receive a designation as a "School of Excellence" from National PTA. 
• We need your help! Please fill out our Needs Assessment Survey so we can figure out where our deficiencies are. 
• We will work on an improvement plan to implement throughout the year. We appreciate your help!

Funtastik Spirit Month!

• Starts Now until September 30th!

• We encourage you to plan a class or grade-level outing during one of the weekends in September!

• September 16th from 11A - 10P.
• Don't forget to show the flyer (digital flyer is acceptable).

Treasured Viking Fund

• Families who need assistance with expenses for school-related items can apply for assistance through our Treasured Viking Fund application.
• Items that could be covered include, but are not limited to: spirit shirts, Field Day shirts, 5th Grade class shirts, school supplies, club fees / dues, and more.
• Please note your request will need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline (of the event / item).
• Donations to our Treasured Viking Fund are also appreciated.
